Generic Medications and Insurance

Our cash pricing program is designed primarily for many commonly prescribed generic medications. There are many generic medications starting at $4 dollars for a 30 day supply and $10 dollars for a 90 day supply! Sometimes the price can be even lower with insurance which we would gladly inform you!

Generic medications contain the same active ingredients as their brand name counterparts and are required by the United States Food and Drug Administration to meet the same standards for quality, safety, and effectiveness. They often provide an excellent opportunity for patients to reduce their prescription costs without sacrificing quality.

Brand name medications are different. In many cases, they are covered more favorably through your insurance plan and may cost less when your insurance is used. For that reason, we always recommend comparing both options before making a decision.

Our goal is never to encourage patients to avoid using their insurance or discount cards. Our goal is to help you receive the best overall value based on your individual prescription and your specific situation.

An Important Note About Insurance Deductibles

Another important point that many patients may not realize is that cash pricing and most prescription discount card programs generally do not apply toward your insurance deductible or your annual out of pocket maximum.

If you have a deductible or are working toward your yearly out of pocket expenses, using your insurance may provide an important long term benefit even if the immediate cost is slightly higher.
